Velision AI Studio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your full name, company name, email address, and optionally your phone number.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our platform, including pages visited, features used, and export documents generated.
Export Business Data: Any buyer details, invoice data, packing list content, or other business documents you create within the platform.
Payment Information: We use Razorpay to process payments. We do not store your card details — they are handled entirely by Razorpay.
Communications: Messages you send through our contact form or WhatsApp support channel.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve our AI automation services.
To send product updates, feature announcements, and support communications.
To analyse usage patterns and improve the platform experience.
To comply with legal obligations under Indian law (IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023).
To prevent fraud and maintain platform security.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest.
All data in transit is protected via TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
We implement role-based access control — only authorised team members can access production data.
Export documents are stored securely and are accessible only to your account.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We share data with service providers (Supabase, Razorpay, Resend, Render.com) only to the extent necessary to deliver our services.
We may disclose information if required by law or legal process.
If we merge with or are acquired by another company, your data may be transferred with prior notice to you.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns. You can opt out via your browser settings.
We use Microsoft Clarity to analyse user interactions (heatmaps, session recordings). IP addresses are anonymised.
You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.

6. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Right to Access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Right to Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate data.
Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your account and associated data.
Right to Portability: You may request your data in a machine-readable format.

7. Data Retention

Active account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
After account deletion, personal data is permanently erased within 30 days.
Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
Financial records may be retained for 7 years as required under Indian law.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and above.
We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
